The beauty of Nusa Penida islands continues to draw the attention. It offers diverse natural scenery such as the magnificence of the beach. Now, a new pristine object emerges with a lovely attraction namely Sebela Beach at Karang hamlet, Pejukutan.

Sebela Beach located adjacent to Atuh Beach is about 19 kilometers from the subdistrict town. This coastal cliff and slightly sandy beach is made into a fishing object by local people. All this time, this beach is only known by local residents. However, since the road access has been improved, Sebela Beach begins to be thronged by foreign and local travelers.

A local resident, I Nyoman Sudiarman, said on Wednesday (Dec. 7) that Sebela Beach is an interesting object with the charm of unspoiled nature. Previously, the road access remained to become a constraint when visiting this destination. But now it can be reached directly by motorcycle.

The beach with distinctively not too high expanse of cliff is more visited by fishing hobbyists. They mostly come from Denpasar, Tabanan and surrounding areas. Sudiarman hoped the road can be paved as soon as possible in order to provide comfort for visitors heading for the Sebela Beach.

The area of Atuh Beach is often called the Raja Lima (literally, the king of five) denoting a prime choice in the area of East Nusa Penida so that it has an impact on Sebela Beach as a complement to enjoy the attraction of beautiful natural graces on the islands of Nusa Penida.

A visitor, Dewa Ayu Embas Saraswati, said on Wednesday (Dec. 7) that the hidden destinations are now being hunted amid the saturation to the existing tourist attractions in Bali. Moreover, the Sebela Beach looks like a perfectly-combined natural attraction where visitors can see sunrise, the stretch of cliff and Mount Rinjani in Lombok. “This is my first visit here. In fact, it is quite beautiful,” she said. (BTN/kmb)
