Do you still remember Bindu village? The tourism village located at Buana Mekar village, Abiansemal, Badung, is now equipped with water attraction such as tubing game. This type of water attraction is relatively new and even has not been officially opened. Nevertheless, many people are intrigued to enjoy this attraction. Local children, for instance, seem to have tried to relieve their curiousness.
It passes one of the rivers at Bindu customary village with a distance of about 2 km and can be covered within about 1.5 hours. Though not too wide, this river has swift enough streams. So, it can offer a bit of challenge, but surrounding nature remains pristine and beautiful. “Travelers can see the activities of local village farmers, a variety of local plants and animals,” said a management of tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis), IGN Suastawa.
For this game, it has been prepared 10 pieces of tubing with super quality. It is started from Subak Gaga and resumed by gliding on the river and finishing at Subak Yeng area, near Bindu village. During the course, unlimited experiences will be obtained to be told to sisters or friends. “The tubing path is indeed sloping so that it is suitable for children and beginners. Playing with a girlfriend or boyfriend will surely be very exciting,” he said.
In the meantime, participants of the tubing activities have not been covered by insurance because the track is not too challenging. However, it offers beautiful countryside views and is really clean. Singing of birds or sounds of naughty grasshopper often make people amazed. Grass, green paddy fields and crops belonging to farmers look so fresh and greet every single traveler.
Previously, Bindu tourism village has opened trekking paths that offers hospitality of rural communities, agriculture and farmers’ activities of Subak Gaga as well as dining delight with local agricultural produce. Besides, the village also has a spiritual tourist spot called Tanah Hyang Healing Center and Herbal Garden. The location with exclusive aura is often taken advantage by travelers to perform meditation, yoga and agnihotra ritual.
This Tanah Hyang seems to have healing power. The location is hidden because of sitting behind the people’s settlement. Nevertheless, many people come to invoke healing. Some come after getting information from a medium or getting a clue through a dream. “On certain days, it holds an organic market by involving travelers,” said Suastawa.
This tubing tourist attraction gets support from Furama Villas & Spa, an accommodation located at local village. Hotel management keeps promoting to hotel guests as well as to travelers outside the hotel, in addition to the other activities at local village. “We strongly support the existence of Bindu tourism village. It also includes the promotion of tubing attraction to travelers,” said Resort Manager of Furama Villas & Spa, Wayan Sumandia. (BTN/015)
