Deep in the Bali Jungle is an off-the-beaten track experience in Bali in the Desa of Sibang Kaja that visitors from around the world come to visit daily to experience the ‘Greenest School on Earth’. Green School Bali is a non-profit international Pre-K to High School and is well known around the world for its holistic educational concept and unique bamboo, wall-less campus. Green School first opened in Bali in 2008 with 90 students and was envisioned by Bali-based jewelry designers John & Cynthia Hardy.

The school now educates over 700 students for sustainability from ages 3 to 18. With approximately 430 students during the regular school day and another 330 local Balinese students from the neighbouring village for after school programmes at Green School. Come experience this unique concept with daily guided tours around the Green School Bali campus from Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 10am and on weekends from 1030am to 1130am.

Visitors are carefully guided around the campus so as not to disrupt the teachers and students in class, but still get to see the 5 hectares area campus, learn more about the educational philosophy and sustainability.

To learn more about the tours and extended tours, which includes an experience at nearby organic Kul Kul Farm, workshops with Green School’s recycling centre, Kembali, to experiencing the nearby Bamboo Student Village or to meet the Kul Kul Connection – Green School’s after after school programme.

Green School Bali will be hosting its annual Sustainable Solutions event on April 21 2017 which is open to the community with workshops, talks and vendors sharing best practices on sustainability. To learn more and get tickets, visit www.bit.ly/SustSolutions
