Are you a tattoo lover? Stop by at the Balinesia Tattoo located on Jalan Poppies Lane 2 Kuta. This tattoo studio offers a unique tattoo design. The images are not only beautiful, but also having a spirituality and sincere expression. This happens because every tattoo studio has its own expertise, and surely they strongly feature Balinese culture.

Imagination of the tattoo artisans at Balinesia Tattoo is very high, so that between one tattoo and the others has their own advantages both in the form of images, color and quality of durability. “Although we are equally tattoo artisans, we still prioritize hygiene by using sterilized tools. This happens because we are very professional, so the results are good,” said Wayan Suartana, a tattoo artist and the owner of the Balinesia Tattoo.

Balinesia Tattoo has six original Balinese tattoo artisans. Other than being very friendly, they also have expertise in art expression. Their scratches are better and the images look more vivid. Their color, either black or white or various other colors would seem to look harmonious. They offer various designs, so there are many options. There are realists (portrait), oriental, biomechanical models and many others. “Especially the Balinese style design covers the barong, rangda and Balinese dance, such as Legong and mask,” he explained.

Wayan Suartana, who is familiarly called Tagel, said though having its own drawing style, customers can also bring their own designs. Especially for Balinese lovers, they choose images of Hindu religious symbols, such as Om Kara. “Guests love symbols of Hinduism because they are interested in their teachings, as there are good and bad things like in the concept of rwa bhineda (dualism), belief in God,” he said.

When making these religious symbols, these tattoo artists continue to promote ethics and moral responsibility. They do not want to make under the navel. “Although this is just an image, we do not want to make it from the navel downwards. Before drawing, we also provide understanding, information related to the images to be drawn, both the meaning and function, so that they can understand,” he added.

Dewa Sandiasa, as assistant of the artist admitted, there are also guests bringing along their own designs from their home country. Therefore, these artists can paint directly (freehand), in addition to attaching the existing image. “They are happy with the style of Balinesia Tattoo, so there are guests making tattoos every coming to Bali. There are guests making tattoo here for 6 times in a row. Within a year, it can make tattoo three times. He also said this as a keepsake when traveling on the Island of the Gods,” he said.

Balinesia Tattoo and its branches on Jalan Pantai Kuta No 27A Kuta put forwards friendliness and easiness to mingle. Every incoming customer is considered a brother, not as a buyer. On that account, various awards were ever achieved by Balinesia Tattoo, such as Bali Tattoo Artist Club, Sanitation Health Office of Bali Province, and once won the first winner of the Ubud Tattoo Show Contest (2015), as exhibitor in Bali, Bandung, Yogyakarta and next September 15, 2017 it will participate in the Australia Expo.
