“To keep our earth having given its grace to all of us, namely on the land, sea and air, we must make every effort as much as possible considering the life on earth is the responsibility of all the planet’s inhabitants,” said Director of Operations of Fairmont Hotel Sanur, Erlangga Farizky.

“Even though we do not do great things, having a positive contribution is quite important. We continuously do small things and provide education and awareness on the importance of preserving our environment in order to sustain better lives,” added Farizky.

“Plastic waste has become a crucial issue, so that we are at this hotel trying to keep taking advantage of this waste. Thus, it gives economic value, and reduce plastic waste, in cooperation with Eco Brick Foundation where plastic waste is processed into various useful items such as desks and other furniture,” explained Ni Wayan Wirati, Spa & Leisure Manager, as well as Chairwoman and CSR of Fairmont Hotel.

“Considering the Fairmont Hotel having been operating with 94 suites and 26 villas since 2013 located at Semawang, it will have a responsibility to participate in maintaining and even improving the current coastal conditions in collaboration with the Coral Triangle Center (CTC) Foundation. For three years until now, we have planted more than 20 baby corals on the coast of Semawang,” added Wirati. (BTN/014)
