The beauty of the rising sun, uniqueness of the people’s tradition with its local genius as well as the existence of several historical places have made Sanur into distinctive attraction for tourists wishing to spend holidays in Bali,” said Made Dapir, the owner of The Alantara Sanur, on the soft opening held on Saturday night (Oct. 28).
“The Alantara Sanur spreads across an area of 5,800 square meters with the building area of 40 square meters in the Sanur tourism area, precisely at Betngandang, Sanur Kauh, South Denpasar. It is a historical village being rich in art, culture and charm in Denpasar. Lately, Sanur has even become the second home to a number of travelers from Europe,” added Made Dapir.
Made Dapir, 70, the owner of PT. Nusa Jaya Sanur, told his story. “I actually have built dozens of hotels since 1973, not only in Bali but also outside Bali. Then, I just had an intention to build a hotel in 2015, so it was then born The Alantara Sanur,” he said.
“The presence of The Alantara Sanur has the nuances inspired by Balinese rich cultural heritage. It does not to compete, but to participate and become partner in promoting tourism industry in Bali. The Alantara Sanur is a pilot project of PT Nusa Jaya Sanur through its subsidiary PT Wisata Jaya International designed by Ground Kent Architects,” he affirmed.
Meanwhile, Sudirga Yusa, Managing Director of Pramana Experience, said The Alantara Sanur is the only hotel managed outside Ubud area, coming with 42 rooms. In details, it consists of 28 Deluxe Rooms, 10 Alantara Suites, 2 two-bedroom pool villas and 2 one-bedroom pool villas supported by main pool facilities, Pudak Spa, Pesisi Restaurant and Pool Bar with the target market of honeymooners, Europe, Australia and domestic market.
