For the promotion of Hindi Language in Balinese Community, this programme was joined by participants from Balinese as well as Indian community.

In which The Director of ICC Bali, Shri Manohar Puri, read the message from Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, for the World Hindi Day .In  his massage  Prime Minister expressed  his pleasure that Foreign Affair Ministry along with Indian Embassies and Missions all over the world is celebrating 10th January as Vishwa Hindi Diwas.

In his massage he said that since Hindi has become a prestigious language, it will spread with more pace on International stage. He congratulated all Hindi Lovers and Hindi Speaking People and wish that all will be cooperating in spreading Hindi with a greater zeal.

The World Hindi Day celebration was started with playing of Indian National Anthem.The gathering was welcomed by ICC Director, Mr Manohar Puri. In his welcome remark, Mr Puri invited the Balinese people that they should come forward in making the Hindi popular, and for those who are interested to learn Hindi they can visit India. However, we are thinking to start Hindi classes soon.

He further emphasized that those who are interested to go to India for learning Hindi may get some cooperation from the Government of India. This may include airfare, boarding and lodging, and some stipend as well. As the Prime Minister hassaid , Hindi is spreading very fast all over the world.It is creating more employment opportunities in the field of tourism,because more and more Indians come and visit Bali. If Balinese youth learn Hindi, it will help them to find employment in the field of tourism.

PM Massage and the welcome remark by Director ICC Bali delivered in Hindi, and translated to Bahasa in fron of the audience by Mrs. Vani Shastri. The program was filled by wonderful dance performance “Sarasvati Vandana” and a Hindi Song “Hum HongeKamyab” which means we shall overcome, by ICC students. Both performances were choreographed and directed by ICC Dance Teacher, Mrs Preeti Sinha. One Hindi Song “Hindi Bharat Maa Ki Bindi” was also sung by Ms. Jyoti.

Students of One Earth School also joined the program by presenting Bhajan . Mrs. SweetaKumari sung one melodious Bhajan titled “Tu Pyar Ka Sagar Hain” andMaster.Ayushman K Suraj also sungonePatriotic Song titled “NanhaMunhaRahiHoon”. Asplendid performance of Yoga practice was presented by the students of Vivekananda Yoga Sanstha Ashram Gandhi Puri.  People in big number came to grace the occasion.

More than 120 participants joined the celebration including The Head of Department of Culture, Province of Bali, Mr. Dewa Putu Beratha, Gandhi Puri Ashram, Brahma Kumaris Ashram, and Anand Ashram. At the end, the celebration was closed with presentation of certificate to all participants and photosession by Consul General of India , Bali, Shri R.O. Sunil Babu and Director of ICC Bali.
