Titian Bali Foundation held a unique and creative art exhibition at Titian Art Space, Ubud. Dozens of paintings presented are the works of the artists from various circles. The themes raised vary, but almost all works have their own uniqueness as well as the message to be conveyed. The exhibition was opened on the second anniversary of the Titian Bali Foundation on Monday (Jan. 29) and lasts until February 25.

This exhibition displays 35 paintings of Balinese artists after passing through a rigorous selection. There were 22 finalist works of children category with 4 champions; 4 paintings of finalists belong to teenage category and 9 paintings of adult category selected as Top Titian Prize Finalist. “All the artworks on display have been carefully selected, as the works of domestic artists,” said Dr. I Wayan Kun Adnyana, Chairman of Titian Bali Foundation.

The selection process began with the art talent search for children. It was commenced with collecting the works of art on December 15, 2017 with a free theme and all the participants must be citizen of Indonesia from Bali. Furthermore, the selection process involved the jury panel consisting of David Arnold (America), Edmondo Zanolini (Italy) and I Nyoman Erawan (Bali) who assessed the works for general category. For the category of teenager and children was assessed by I Ketut Suwidiarta, I Gusti Made Wisatawan and I Wayan Rio Riawan.

The artworks nominated are exhibited at Titian Art Space Ubud, while the owners of the work were awarded on the second anniversary of Titian Bali Foundation. Finalists of the teenage category awarded are I Wayan Debi Eka Putra, I Kadek Krisna Rindawan, I Kadek Agus Parmadi and I Kadek Jimmy Pranata.

Then, finalists belonging to children category are I Kadek Rifa Ryan Suputra, I Putu Agus Aditya Wardana, I Made Ananda Krisna Putra, Anak Agung Tiara Komala Dewi, Ketut Soendra Gautama, Putu Desta Mahendra Dinata, Kadek Ariel Yoga Prasetya, Luh Sukma Ayu Narata Dewi, Pande Komang Reza, Wayan Oka Widana, I Kadek Dimas Tirta, I Putu Bagus Sastra Vedanta W, Luh Pratiwi, Ni Wayan Ari Pratiwi, Ni Kadek Ari Andini, I Made Windu Sugara, I Gede Alan and Putu Janarkka Syanendra Putra.

Meanwhile, Top Children is given to I Wayan Dendi Permana Putra, I Made Adi Pradnyana Putra, Ni Kadek Mitia Kirani and Ni Putu Jesikka Agustini. For the Top 9 Titian Prize Finalists of general category are awarded to I Wayan Aris Sarmanta, I Nyoman Ari Winata, I Made Suartama, I Kadek Yulianto, I Ketut Suwidiarta, Ida Bagus Suryantara, I Wayan Eka Mahardika Suamba, I Made Wahyu Senayadi and I Gede Suryawan Eka Putra.
