Mass Mepandes Participants Received CertificateThe mass "Mepandes" ceremony was held in Pesraman Lumajang on Monday, December 31, 2012. The ceremony was held by Bali Post, Bali YY and Genta FM Radio. The ceremony was joined by 126 participants from all around Indonesia. Even, the Vice Mayor of Denpasar Jaya Negara took part in the ceremony as "Sangging" or the officer of the ceremony.

The ceremony was also supported by Indonesian Women Hindu Darma Association (WHDI) lead by Mrs. Bintang Puspayoga. The participants received certificate and several photos of them during the ceremony given by The vice Governor AA Puspayoga and the Head of Bali Post Media Group Satria Naradha. Some of the family members of the participants were crying after the procession,Ni Komang Alit Arsani was among those who cried.

She was delighted because her children finally can join the ceremony. "I am very grateful because my children can join this ceremony without paying anything. The procession was started at 5 am where the participants put on their makeup and accessories then at 8.30, the "metatah" procession started. There are 11 sangging employed and assisted by the member of WHDI Bali. The ceremony was closed by Ida Pedanda Gede Ketut Keniten from Griya Jumpung Anyar, Dawan Klod, Klungkung, (BTN/kmb)
