Ms.
Pop Alina:
“Great Holiday”
Holidaying
in Bali and luxuriating in the uniqueness
and splendor of nature along with local
culture positively becomes a priceless experience
for this sweet Rumanian girl. Ms Pop Alina
looked so calm when she was encountered
at Bali Art Center, Denpasar while watching
the gallivanting show (ngelawang) conducted
by a children’s art troupe in Bali.
“Yes, I am very happy to be here and
truthfully feeling the aura of Bali,”
she commented while smiling.
Taking into account this first experience
to Bali, together with her traveling companion
she, of course, would not have the heart
to pass her days without paying a visit
to interesting destinations on this ‘island
of thousand temples’. “This
visit poses a good opportunity for me because
previously I could only see the dramatic
lure of Bali through television,”
uttered the owner of e-mail address at alina_lube@yahoo.com.
Ubud becomes one of the destinations for
this blonde-haired girl. There she could
see in person the very religious life of
Balinese community. “We are glad to
visit Ubud because its aura is enormously
different from that in my home country.
This becomes a great holiday for me,”
she added.
Moreover, she did not feel satisfied to
pay a first quick visit to Bali. On that
account, she is going to come again with
friends and relatives. “I will never
forget the splendor of Bali and I am going
to come again,” she promised at the
end of interview. (BTN/008)
Ray
and Marion Handscomb:
“Pleasant Environment”
The
Sanur tourist resort indeed has become a
tourist destination having a tranquil image
and captivating white sand. For those searching
for serenity, they unhesitatingly and often
choose Sanur as their favorite place to
stay. Mr and Mrs Ray & Marion Handscomb
are one such couple who decided on this
resort as their holiday destination. “Beaches,
lush nature along with its mountain view
in fact present fine distinction to tourists,”
they observed.
Confessing to this being their first visit
to Bali, this Australian couple immediately
fell in love with the splendid appearance
of Bali’s nature. Wanting to experience
more than just the grandeur of its beaches,
they decided together with some friends
to explore Bali further into its mountainous
areas. “We already went to Kintamani
and Lake Batur with some of our friends
and loved the fine-looking view and fine
weather,” they enthused.
Additionally, according to them, the island
also has very tall tropical plants making
them feel inclined to stay longer to appreciate
nature. This activity becomes the most pleasurable
experience during their stay at the Inna
Grand Bali Beach. “I really like to
stay in Garden Wing room area of the Inna
Grand Bali Beach. The tropical gardens at
its surroundings are so beautiful and seemingly
the hotel has well-arranged private beach.
We really love the environment of Bali’s
nature and we will assuredly come back to
Bali,” added Mr Ray. (BTN/008)
Ms.
Maureen Thomas:
“Fine Shopping Place”
Shopping
- this activity indeed has become a must
and the most enjoyable hobby for women.
This indeed applies for Maureen Thomas from
Australia.
Even though she admitted to have come to
Bali twice before, her desire to hunt for
unique goods of Bali is something she eagerly
waits for between visits. “Shopping
is my favorite activity during holiday in
Bali,” she said while smiling.
Multiple unique articles like handicrafts,
clothes and accessories become her target.
Other than being tempted by the fascination
and quality of the product, she also confessed
to favor the Balinese products because of
their affordable price. “The price
of crafts, paintings, silver and batik here
is remarkably cheaper than those in my country.
Its quality is excellent and the product
is handmade. I like them very much,”
observed Miss Thomas.
She also observed that Balinese community
is very friendly and understands how to
please the tourists. “In my opinion,
Balinese people know how to make their guests
happy and keep the tradition so artistic,”
she said.
Similarly, this ambience was also perceived
when she stayed in the Inna Grand Bali Beach.
“I like the hotel and the staff looked
after me very well. People here are so polite
and very welcoming. I think this attitude
makes the tourists return to this island
again and again,” she uttered at the
end of conversation. (BTN/008)
