Within this temple compound is retained a Lingam-Yoni and ancient statues that have been damaged. Therefore, they are no longer known with certainty. There are also some remains of ancient buildings encountered in the temple such as doorstep ruins. This temple is 15 km from the Gianyar City and 37 km from Denpasar. It is situated not far in the north of the Gunung Kawi Temple, Tampaksiring.
By and large, to get to this temple foreign tourists take the path to Gunung Kawi Temple, right on the Pakerisan riverside. Archaeological findings in the temple were the remains of doorstep. To know further about this, the Bali Historical Reserve and Antiquities began to make observations in the field which was followed by an excavation. Ultimately, this effort could find the remains of an ancient building and it is believed as a prasada or ancient worshipping place which may originate from the era of Anak Wungsu.
