Copious tourist attractions support Visit South Sulawesi 2012

Known for its unique culture and ancient traditions, Tanatoraja is one of the districts with beautiful hills and valleys stretching side by side along the slopes of the mountains in South Sulawesi. The  `Visit South Sulawesi 2012` tourism campaign is touted to be a great success as it is supported by many tourist attractions in the province of South Sulawesi.

The province is rich in marine, natural, cultural, historic and agro tourism destinations that will make Visit South Sulawesi 2012 a great success, according to officials. In a bid to facilitate the success of this campaign, the South Sulawesi provincial government`s tourism office is promoting various tourism destinations, particularly the Taka Bonerate Marine Park.

The Taka Bonerate Marine Park, located at Takabonrate Island in Selayar district, is  famous for having the third largest coral atoll in the world after Kwajifein in the Marshall Islands and Suvadiva in the Maldivian Islands. Swimming, diving, snorkeling, and fishing are some of the fun activities at Taka Bonerate Marine Park.

 
 

Have Fun While Playing Canoe on Sanur Beach

Sanur has been well-known as an exotic beach. Indeed, if compared to Kuta, Sanur Beach is less famous. However, this first coastal tourist area in Bali offers its own uniqueness where tourists can enjoy a beautiful sunrise approximately at 6:00 to 7:00 a.m. local time. This beautiful Sanur Beach is approximately 3 km east of Denpasar City.

Booming, Tourists Celebrate New Year at Tanah Lot

Fabulous! Tanah Lot Tourist object really became a favorite tourist destination. It was indicated by the tourist visit on the New Year’s Day of 2012, the tourist object located at Beraban Village, Kediri, Tabanan or about 16 km west of Denpasar was visited by myriad tourists. Thousands of domestic tourists, aside from foreign tourists and local communities, thronged Tanah Lot. “Tanah Lot is now flooded again by foreign and domestic tourists. It is similar to the condition in the New Year’s Day of 2011,” said Operations Manager of Tanah Lot Tourist Object, Ketut Toya Adnyana.

Although the weather was slightly overcast, Toya continued, it did not affect the tourist intention to make a visit. Since seven days before the New Year coinciding with public holidays, the flows of tourists to Tanah Lot had set to soar. They came from various major cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Palembang, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Makassar.

 
 

Tanah Lot Surely Green in 2012

In 2012, the Tanah Lot tourist attraction is ensured to be leafier and greener. Various types of tree seedlings set to be planted as a shade and refresher of the atmosphere. In addition, the arrangement of gardens scattered in the areas has also began to be worked on. “Welcoming the year 2012, we do reforestation as an effort to create a comfortable atmosphere at Tanah Lot,” said the Operations Manager of Tanah Lot, I Ketut Adnyana Toya, not long ago.

The man who was a former civil servant in the Forestry Agency then said if atmosphere of the object had been comfortable, safe and cool, it would certainly had an impact on the increase in the tourist visits. “This activity is also intended to maintain the beauty of temples existing in this Tanah Lot area. If the wonderful atmosphere and the temple sanctity are well maintained, it will kindle a word-to-mouth promotion,” he said.

 
 

Grand Whiz Kuta Comes into Operation

Grand Whiz Kuta has officially operated since Monday (Dec 19). The opening of hotel under the management of PT Intiwhiz International (Intiwhiz) was marked with the turning on the serine and release of balloons by the Head of the Badung Government Tourism Office, Cok Oka Darmawan, representing the Regent of Badung and accompanied by Cosmas Batubara (President Commissioner of Intiland),  Moedjianto Soesilo Tjahjono (President Director and CEO of Intiwhiz) and Sutrisno Winata (Director of PT Wira Intiland Nusantara) as a strategic partner who built the Grand Whiz Kuta hotel.

Grand Whiz Kuta is a three star hotel situated in a remarkably strategic location namely at Jalan Kartika Plaza, Kuta, a prominent tourist area on the Bali Island. It is only 10 minutes drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport. The hotel stands on an area of 2,000 square meters consisting of two buildings as high as four and five floors and a basement floor for parking facilities. It offers 135 rooms divided into three categories namely the standard, deluxe and junior suites.
