Beautifying Temple Area Located Amidst the Lake

Splendors and charms of the Ulun Danu Beratan tourist attraction are increasingly attractive. The attraction located at Candikuning village, Baturiti, Tabanan, or about 50 km north of Denpasar has just accomplished its arrangement. “We have made improvement in the temple area located in the lake that has experienced siltation,” said Operation Manager of the Ulun Danu Beratan, Wayan Mustika. For the excavation, explained Mustika, his party used heavy equipment by involving third party. The project was worked on for three days and had been completed before the New Year 2013. “This is our effort to provide best services to tourists. Our view will be better to create a comfortable tourist destination,” he added.

By arranging the temple area, the lake water has become more beautiful. With a variety of tourist attractions, including the water attraction, it has turned smoother and wider. The destination is indeed a choice for tourists to immortalize themselves through photographs. Background of the temple premises amidst the lake looked very beautiful. “By all means, we remain consistent to pay attention to the sanitation,” he said.

Previously, the management also made arrangement to the art shop offering a variety of souvenirs. The previous art shop was relocated to the south, so that the view of the object looked more apparent. Meanwhile, the parking lot had been made more spacious embellished with diverse flowers. Besides, the arrangement was also done to ticket booth, post of pecalang or customary security officer and flower gardens. Aside from luring more visitors to Ulun Danu tourist attraction, the arrangement effort also got the attention from the government. As evidence, the tourist attraction could achieve Cipta Award and several awards of local level. (BTN/015)
