A total of 11 hotels located within The Nusa Dua Area, an area managed by Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a state-owned enterprise developer and operator of tourism areas in Indonesia, are designated as quarantine hotels for foreign travelers. Determination of the 11 hotels is to welcome the opening of Bali tourism for foreign tourists.
The hotels are Melia Bali, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali, The Laguna a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa Nusa Dua, Courtyard by Marriott Nusa Dua, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Merusaka Nusa Dua, Novotel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel and Residences, Grand Hyatt Bali, Amarterra Villas Bali Nusa Dua, and Mercure Bali Nusa Dua.
Determination of the quarantine hotel was carried out by the Bali Covid-19 Handling Taskforce based on letters of recommendation to 55 hotels in Bali as accommodation or quarantine hotels for foreign travelers in Bali Province. “We really appreciate the determination of the 11 hotels in The Nusa Dua as quarantine hotels for foreign travelers by the Bali Covid-19 Handling Taskforce,” said Managing Director of The Nusa Dua, I Gusti Ngurah Ardita, in a press release on Friday (Oct 29).
The determination is a form of stakeholder’s trust in the readiness of The Nusa Dua area to welcome tourists during the adaptation period of new habits. “Currently, we are coordinating with the Bali Covid-19 Handling Taskforce regarding the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the reception of foreign tourists in our area,” he concluded.
