Simple but full of meaning is the atmosphere of the celebration of the 55th anniversary of Grand Inna Bali Beach on Friday (Nov 5). The rice cone was cut by General Manager Lully Juliarina which was then handed over to representatives of employees with 15 years of service, namely I Made Hadi Kusnadi and I Wayan Budiarta. Grand Inna Bali Beach’s anniversary falls on November 1, 2021, but the thanksgiving was just made on November 5.
President Director of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero), Iswandi Said, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to guests and customers for the trust given to Grand Inna Bali Beach so far. “This anniversary opportunity will be used as a moment to continuously make developments and set big steps forward,” he said.
Implementation of the anniversary commemoration was jazzed up with various activities and competitions involving all elements and ranks of employees. The activities include blood donation in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross, visits to the Sunya Giri Orphanage, inter-departmental creative video competition and employee profile photos, holding joint prayers, and awarding service period for employees who have served the company for 15 years. The awards were presented by the General Manager of Grand Inna Bali Beach, Lully Juliarina.
Lully Juliarina stated that as the first 4-star hotel built in the Sanur area, Grand Inna Bali Beach will continuously carry out various developments, so that it becomes a tourist icon in Bali. “Grand Inna Bali Beach commemorating the 55th anniversary in November 2021 is ready to welcome back tourist arrivals to Bali and develop tourism in the new normal era,” she said.
Grand Inna Bali Beach was originally named Hotel Bali Beach, spreading across an area of 42 hectares. It features a tower area, garden area, and resort cottages with a total of 523 rooms. As a part of the business unit of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero), Grand Inna Bali Beach and was first built in 1963 by President Soekarno based on a vision to promote Indonesia in the world of international tourism. “Now, Grand Inna Bali Beach has become a tourism icon with a high historical value,” she said.
