According to him, the tourism sector plays an important role in efforts to accelerate economic recovery, which is also linked to creative industry simulations and job creation. For the BBTF 2022, the theme highlighted is “Balancing in Harmony” by featuring Sports, Health and Wellness tourism, where Bali has become home to world-class medical facilities providing traditional and cutting-edge treatment and medicine.

“Being popular as an annual tourism exhibition and leading travel destination in Indonesia, BBTF has been continuously supported by the Ministry of Tourism from the beginning, local governments and associations under the auspices of the Indonesia Tourism Industry Association (GIPI) of Bali Chapter,” he said.

Putu Winastra further emphasized that in the event bringing together sellers and buyers into one forum, the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair with 128 sellers and 87 quality buyers from 28 countries will present a number of activities and discussion forums with selected speakers. “The speakers will discuss new opportunities and trends in industry insight, Indonesia’s cultural diversity, especially priority destinations as strategic assets for Indonesia’s tourism growth,” he added.
