ARTOTEL Sanur Bali in collaboration with one of the native Balinese artists, Bagus Ari Maruta, presents an art exhibition entitled Dilema Ria which is creative. The exhibition is open to the public from March 11 to May 11, 2022 at ARTSPACE ARTOTEL Sanur – Bali.

This artist was born in Ubud and completed his studies at the Indonesia Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta. Bagus Ari Maruta focuses on everyday life and peace of mind interpreted with color. It looks flashy, cultured, subtle and cornering, but witty and acceptable to a wide audience. That’s the work of Bagus Ari Maruta if described.

Gustra as the curator explained that the Dilema Ria gives Bagus the opportunity to be able to express the current Balinese atmosphere based on his awe and curiosity about Balinese culture itself. The techniques used in making the works of art are still using the ones having been occupied by Bagus.

This art exhibition presents something different and unique as well as highlights the characteristics of Bagus Ari Maruta’s work which cannot be found anywhere. “It is an honor for ARTOTEL Sanur–Bali to be able to collaborate with local artists.
