Element by Westin Bali Ubud received Green Globe certification as an appreciation for its focus on providing a better quality of life. “This certification was obtained on the basis of a comprehensive assessment of environmental sustainability performance in increasing economic, social and environmental sustainability,” said General Manager of Element by Westin Bali Ubud, Richardo Tutuko, accompanied by Marketing Communication Executive, Rofiqoh Nur Asriyani, recently.

The assessment is reviewed from more than 380 indicators applied to 44 individual criteria that vary by type of certification, geographical area and locale. “Element by Westin Bali Ubud in supporting a sustainable lifestyle has taken several initiative measures, including commitment to reducing plastic waste with a percentage of 100 percent of single-use plastic-free in hotel rooms and 80 percent in the Food & Beverage division as well as using the farm-to-table concept for groceries at Andong Teras Restaurant,” he explained.

The spa feature at PancaMaya Wellness also provides the best relaxation using natural ingredients, and it is integrated with a consultation program focusing on vitality, weight management and detoxification programs. “Apart from it, we also apply smoke-free rules in every hotel room, apply eco-friendly equipment, contribute to support by providing a variety of open spaces for family activities in the hotel area with various facilities,” he continued.
