Grand Inna Bali Beach, Center for Centralized Isolation

The latest circular of the Hindu Dharma Council of Indonesia (PHDI) and the Bali Customary Village Council (MDA) regulates residents and those who will carry out religious ceremonies or Panca Yadnya activities that will take effect on August 16, 2021 until an unspecified time limit. One of the points in the circular states that if there are residents who are exposed to Covid-19, they cannot do home quarantine, but must stay in centralized isolation site at the Grand Inna Bali Beach Sanur which has been prepared by the government and will be picked up by the local government, military as well as police officers.

In this regard, General Manager of Grand Inna Bali Beach (GIBB), Lully Juliarina, stated that as one of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) hotels, GIBB is certainly very supportive of the government’s program to break the chain and spread of Covid-19. With this support, she hoped that the pandemic will soon pass and the situation will recover soon. “Through the government of Bali Province and Denpasar City, we GIBB as one of the centralized isolation centers have implemented the Health Protocol in accordance with the rules issued by the government,” she said.

In this case, continued Lully Juliarina, the hotel certainly cooperates with the team of Health Workers and the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) by adjusting the conditions in providing services for centralized isolation patients. Thus, Covid-19 patients will remain in treatment, receive more intensive treatment, such as feeding, vitamins or medication, health or exercise schedules, so that the patients will soon be healthy and recover. “After that, they will return to their respective homes and can return to their normal activities,” she explained.

This friendly woman emphasized that in handling Covid-19 patients, she is fully under supervision of the healthcare team. Because, in handling positive people, it requires professional people like the health workers. Meanwhile, the hotel does not interact directly with the patients. “We only prepare food in a predetermined venue with very strict procedures,” she said.

Since the Covid-19 outbreak in Bali, GIBB has responded by living a new era of life according to government policies. GIBB always implements health protocols by maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel area so that it remains neat and creates comfort and always applies a healthy lifestyle to provide a sense of security for hotel employees and guests. Everything done has been in accordance with Clean, Health, Safety & Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) hygiene standards. (BTN/015)
