HFLA Indonesia of Bali Chapter Welcomes Latest Tourism Trends

The Covid-19 pandemic situation occurred in recent years had a considerable impact on the economy and social life of the community. One of which is the tourism industry. However, starting in early 2022, the community’s economic condition began to improve, due to the reopening of various tourist attractions that received tourist visits. So, will the current tourist trend and tourism business style be the same as before Covid-19?

Hotel Front Liner Association (HFLA) Indonesia of Bali Chapter has a solution to answer these public questions. As one of the associations engaged in the tourism industry, we are passionate about presenting a workshop with the theme “Online Business Strategy”. This workshop was held at the Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali, last week. “This workshop is one of the answers to the question of whether the current tourist trend and tourism business style will be the same as before Covid-19. We will give the answer,” said HFLA Bali Training Development Coordinator, Vaundra Aristra.

All the problems were discussed by presenting resource persons from business players in the tourism industry and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). By collaborating with BacktoBali.id as an online platform for Bali’s creative economy, this workshop is one of the answers to these questions. The resource persons included I Wayan Ginastra (Revenue Management Enthusiast) and Silvia Ratna Ariani in charge of BacktoBali.id as resource persons at this event.

Ginastra through the topic Travel Trends Post Pandemic and Silvia through the topic Social Media Virality for Promotion of Tourism Products provided new perspectives that can improve the strategies of tourism businesses and SMEs in dealing with the trends of community life and tourism after this pandemic. In addition, the workshop also invited tourism business players and MSMEs in order to be able to build businesses that are adaptive to advances in digital technology in the current era.

Even though the Covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing, the HFLA Indonesia of Bali Chapter is committed to continuously presenting a variety of innovative and creative activities every year in order to develop each individual in it and the life of the surrounding community.  “In the future, the HFLA Indonesia of Bali Chapter will also hold activities in the form of a CSR program in order to welcome the 15th anniversary of HFLA Indonesia of Bali Chapter,” said Chairman of HFLA Indonesia of Bali Chapter, Gede Windu Suputra.
