Coinciding with the full moon of the tenth month in Balinese calendar or Thursday (Mar 17), Horison Le Aman Bali holds melaspas or inugural ritual. The hotel located in the Kedonganan area has completed its construction period, and is expected to start operating in mid-2022.
“Melaspas is a cleaning and purification ceremony for a building that has been completed, the building is made of different elements such as wood, earth and stone. Then, they are put together into a building suitable for occupancy,” said Bagus Wahyu Setiawan, General Manager of Horizon Le Aman Bali.
He added that the ceremony is carried out to make people to being live in the building, namely hotel guests, will feel comfortable, safe, peaceful and homey; avoid unwanted things. The ceremony was also attended by management PT. Metropolitan Golden—Horison Hotels Group, Corporate Director Marketing Communications, Ratu Patimasang.
Ratu Patimasang stated that Horison Le Aman Bali is the second property after Horison Seminyak, and the 58th Horison hotel in Indonesia. “We follow the procession and series of melaspas ceremony rituals, which is a cultural custom in Bali, after the construction process is complete. Hopefully, the negative energy becomes positive as well as the universe and its contents; the guests who will stay and of course the employees who work in the Horison Le Aman Hotel will get safety, peace and harmony,” explained Ratu Patimasang.
Le Aman Bali is three-star hotel with a business and leisure concept. It is located at Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai No. 50, Kedonganan, Kuta, Badung, Bali. The hotel features 121 rooms, a rooftop swimming pool and two meeting rooms.
