Hotel NEO Denpasar and Archipelago International held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity at the Denpasar Salvation Army Orphanage some time ago. This event involved social visits and cooking demonstrations by the hotel team and skilled chefs with the aim of imparting culinary knowledge to the children in the orphanage.

The activity is meant to make a positive contribution to the surrounding community and foster a sense of care and empathy among employees. Even though not all members of the hotel team were able to attend the event, the entire hotel team contributed financially to support the charitable endeavor.

A visit to the Salvation Army Orphanage was filled with joy and compassion as the hotel staff interacted with children, spreading smiles and bringing happy moments into their day. The hotel team engaged in various activities to lighten the spirits of children and create lasting memories.

One of the main events is a cooking demonstration led by Archipelago International’s Corporate Chef and the hotel’s top chefs. The children enthusiastically participate, learn the basics of cooking, and find joy in creating such delicious dishes. “The interactive sessions are an opportunity for children to develop new skills and ignite their interest in culinary arts,” said Hotel Manager, I Gusti Ngurah Tisna Wiraatmaja.

The CSR event is for hotel employees. “This event has great value because it fosters a sense of empathy within our staff towards the surrounding community. Even though not all employees can be physically present, every member contributes generously to support this charitable event,” he said.

Apart from cooking demonstrations and social visits, such an event was also enlivened by simple performances by orphanage children who sang and danced happily. The moment brought happiness and joy to all people in attendance. It ended warmly with the distribution of aid and a joint meal that strengthened the bond and sense of togetherness between Hotel NEO Denpasar, Archipelago International, and the Salvation Army Orphanage.
