Foodies must know or at least have heard of Kembali Bumbak, the most fantastic venue to eat and drink. After being closed for almost two years due to the pandemic, Kembali Bumbak is now operating again with new enthusiasm starting last August 2021. The newest owner, Davina Dee, has conjured up the Kembali Bumbak with several innovations to improve the quality of food & beverage as well as service to visitors. “Although there have been some changes, the concept and the mission carried are still the same,” said Davina Dee, on Wednesday (Nov 24).
Kembali Bumbak is a casual dining restaurant that carries a stylish, yet relaxed theme. Having a cozy shady garden feel with various instagrammable spots, this restaurant is often a favorite of Indonesian and foreign celebrities as well as influencers to hang out for breakfast to dinner. It happens because the location is very strategic, halfway between Seminyak and Canggu, right at Umalas, Jalan Bumbak Dauh, No. 41-45, Kerobokan, North Kuta subdistrict, Badung.
In addition to a comfortable place, Kembali Bumbak presents local and international fusion menus that can be enjoyed by all groups. The most favorite menus for celebrities and influencers themselves include Australian Eye Fillet Steak and Frities, Pesto Fried Rice, Kembali Traditional Se’i, and Parmesan Waffles. Vegan and gluten-free menus include the Kembali Vegan Burger and Grilled Barramundi equally popular among visitors. The other advantage, it is a venue for animal lovers who want to bring their pet stars.
During this pandemic, Kembali Bumbak is a comfortable place for those wishing to Work from Bali (WFB) while enjoying a calm atmosphere and away from the crowds accompanied by their favorite specialty coffee blend from Expat Roasters. “For those who are looking for entertainment on Friday nights with relatives, we have regular events in the form of acoustic nights to accompany visitors to enjoy the weekend with the accompaniment of selected songs from our musicians,” she said.
Kembali Bumbak also offers a variety of main dishes that can be enjoyed for breakfast to dinner. All of them is packaged in two parts, namely Kembali All Day Menu and Kembali Evening Menu. There are also other menus, such as All Sides & Extras for those who want to add side dishes to the main course, Pancakes with American Style or Hot Cakes, Back Shared for snacks, and Something Sweet and Cookies for dessert. There are also several children’s dishes for visitors who bring their children to the restaurant.
The drinks are no less interesting. Some delightful variations to try, such as Fruit Juices, Smoothies, Granita, Milkshake & Freakshake, Kombucha and Jamu by Rawganic, Soft Drinks, various types of tea, and of course the favorite, namely Coffee. “For coffee, we use coffee beans from Expat Roasters which have guaranteed quality. The coffee is made by competent and experienced baristas because Kembali Bumbak always provides the best processed coffee every day,” she explained.
The concept is very attractive, so it provides three rooms, namely indoor with air conditioning, semi-outdoor and outdoor. The dining atmosphere is very calm and comfortable in the indoor space, usually used by co-working or digital nomads to work with their laptops. This indoor room is also used as a meeting venue for several groups from certain companies. The semi-outdoor room is perfect for those who want to relax. Decorated with greenery and having a beautiful view of the rice fields, this semi-outdoor roar feels shady and calming.
While in the outdoor, although there are only three tables, this is the most favorite venue for visitors. The shape of the table and chairs is circular, making it look more unique, coupled with lots of green plants and ornamental flowers around it, making this an instagrammable venue. “We are a pet friendly restaurant. Visitors may bring their pets while they are dine-in. There are several board games and card games that can be played at the venue with friends or family,” explained Marketing, Aini RD, who accompanied Davina Dee at the time. (BTN/015)
