Lakeview Hotel & Restaurant Kintamani Begins to Rise

International flight routes continue to grow to Bali. Domestic intercity flights have also never been quiet after the government made it easy for potential tourists to travel. This has a positive impact on tourism businesspeople, including hotel operators on the Island of Bali. Similarly, this positive impact has been felt by accommodation operators in the Kintamani tourism area, Bangli. “We are grateful that the opening of international flights in Bali is able to stimulate tourism, including the movement of customers at Lakeview Hotel & Restaurant,” said General Manager of Lakeview Hotel & Restaurant, I Ketut Putranata, on Monday (Aug 1).

Lakeview Hotel located in the highlands, precisely on Jalan Raya Penelokan, Kintamani, Bangli District, has very beautiful selfie spots. The atmosphere is cool and the natural scenery is very wonderful. In the morning and evening, Kintamani’s nature looks exotic that cannot be found in other areas. The accommodation is located between the Batur Geopark Museum and the Penelokan tourist object, so if you want to visit Lake Batur and Mount Batur, it only takes a 10-minute drive. Then, if you want to visit Terunyan Village, which is famous for its grave tradition, it only takes 45 minutes from this hotel.

Lakeview is a legendary hotel in Kintamani. The view point is the best because its location is next to a pine forest and is in the center of the Penelokan tourist attraction. From hotel and restaurant rooms, visitors can freely enjoy beautiful natural scenery, the entire Kintamani caldera, mountains, black lava, lakes and hills which are clearly visible. “The guests feel happy to stay at the Lakeview Hotel because if they are outside or in the room they can always see a beautiful view,” he said.

It is equipped with very complete facilities, where Lakeview features 20 rooms of 3 categories, namely Standard, Superior and Deluxe Room. Besides, Lakeview has 10 beds in the dormitory for backpackers, 300 seats at Lookout Restaurant, 90 seats at Danu Café, meeting rooms, camping ground, swing, free bicycles for in-house guests, halls et cetera. The hotel management also offers activities around the Batur Geopark tourist area, such as camping, picnic, cycling, trekking or hiking, canoeing, village tour and many more. “So that guests will feel happy and can freely enjoy this tourist area because we provide discount prices for all facilities,” he said.

Hotels that have passed the verification for the New Era Life Order Certificate (according to the new normal protocol from the Bangli Tourism & Culture Office) and CHSE from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy are currently continuing to improve primarily in terms of physical aspect, and continue to increase employee work schedules. “Currently, we are still applying special rates, which are definitely cheaper than the prices before COVID-19, especially the room rates are far below normal,” he concluded.
