Citadines Berawa Beach Bali has an attractive way to interpret the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia (RI). With the theme “Resilient Indonesia, Growing Indonesia” the resort located on Jalan Pemelisan Agung, Tibubeneng, North Kuta, Badung, applied it in a series of delightful celebration events, starting from a flag ceremony to cutting rice cone resumed with fun games. The raising flag ceremony was attended by hotel management and staff by implementing strict health protocols.
General Manager, Francisca Thorogood, in her speech asked all employees to keep their enthusiasm at work. They should keep hoping that by working together they will be able to get through the pandemic period and restore Bali’s situation as ever before. “In line with the theme of the 76th celebration of the Independence Day of the RI this year, I want to share the fighting spirit that I have with all the staff here. In the current condition where the world of tourism in Bali is slumped, we should be grateful that we are still in a fairly comfortable situation. This is the right moment for us to stay awake, making it an opportunity that we can get. Rest assured, we will win against this condition, keep the spirit and continue to fight for our success,” she said.
The atmosphere was even getting more festive with the holding of fun games involving hotel guests, staff and media partners. “We are aware that the implementation of the Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM) which took place yesterday was quite difficult for our guests to pass. This event is one of the activities expected to reduce their stress level, as well as serve as an appreciation for their obedience to the applicable regulations,” said Francisca.
The activity has complied with the applicable health protocols, such as maintaining distance, not crowding, playing individually, and always wearing a mask. “We assure guests that this activity is safe and has no potential for spreading the virus. All staff have carried out two-stage vaccines, provided hand sanitizers and masks, and this activity does not include people outside the Citadines Berawa Beach Bali environment,” she continued.
The most alluring part of the activity was the fun games event ended with the distribution of prizes to the winners of the competition which were also won by foreign guests. “The atmosphere of togetherness is expected to be well maintained so that we can rise again and grow together as well as re-stimulate the world of tourism in Bali. Greetings of independence! Indonesia Rises, Indonesia Grows,” she concluded. (BTN/015)
