Prior to that, there were also foreign tourists who came through harbors, and then checked in and then quarantined. Until now, the hotel, becoming a favorite of foreign tourists, continues to receive foreign guests, although the numbers are not too many. The foreign tourists came from various countries, such as England, USA, Denmark, Japan, Australia, Singapore and Korea. “In fact, for the time being almost all countries receiving VOA facilities have started to enter THE 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak,” said this friendly woman with a happy smile.

Foreign guests staying at the hotel are quarantined in accordance with the rules, namely, for four days and three nights. During that time, hotel operator provides services in accordance with the standards of Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE). “Pursuant to the previous rules, our rooms were not cleaned up during the quarantine period. Check-in desk is also different. After guests leave, we spray disinfectant and do not sell the room for at least 2×24 hours. For food and beverage orders, we put them on the table in front of each guest’s room which has been prepared,” said Esty.

Apart from quarantined guests, THE 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak continues to receive regular guests. However, the room allocation is distinguished from quarantined guests who are separated by floor. “To distinguish the types of guests, we start with a confirmation letter or booking that they have received from the hotel, and then we make sure it is back in the system when they check in. After going through the check-in stage, guests are directly escorted to their room,” she said.

Currently, the quarantine has been relaxed. Guests continuously carry out PCR entry tests at the airport and exit tests at the hotel, then on the third day of stay at the hotel. “The only difference from the current regulations is that guests can go out around Bali, as long as the first entry test at the airport is negative. We are very happy because the daily occupancy of THE 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak reaches 40 percent to 60 percent. Honestly, with the opening of the international border, it is enough to uplift the hotel business in terms of occupancy,” she said happily.

What about domestic tourists? This woman who likes nature in Bali explained that currently foreign tourist amounts to 11 percent while domestic tourists still dominate at 89 percent. “Although it is at 11 percent, this figure is a fairly high jump for our hotel,” she concluded gratefully. (BTN/015)
