Paasha Atelier Rebranded to Target SEA Group Travelers

When traveling in Bali, there are now more and more choices to stay. This is because the construction or opening and rebranding of hotels are continuing like the Paasha Atelier located at Jalan Raya Kuta No. 88. Kuta Subdistrict, Badung, Bali. It conducted its rebranding on Friday (Mar 17). The location is very strategic in the tourist center of Kuta, a few minutes to Kuta Beach, close to Mall Bali Galleria, culinary centers, and only a few minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Paasha Atelier Hotel features totally 175 rooms belonging to six categories namely Superior Room, Superior Pool View Room, Duplex Room, Junior Suite, Deluxe Pool and Deluxe Pool Suite. The hotel is equipped with facilities such as gym, spa, meeting room, main pool, restaurant and bar. “The opening was started with an inauguration ceremony, resumed with the Opening Inauguration Ceremony,” said Director of Paasha Atelier Hotel Kuta, Arianto Sjarif, on the sidelines of the rebranding event.

Paasha Atelier is managed by Absolute Hotel Collection (Thailand–Bangkok). Since taking over the hotel from May 2022, it carried out hotel renovations until December 2022. On December 23, Paasha Atelier was opened and began receiving guests. “Regarding the market, as much as 50 percent are targeting group guests and 50 percent are free independent travelers (FIT) commonly known as independent tourists. We focus on working on the Asian market, especially Southeast Asia, India and next China as well as local market,” he said.

Paasha Atelier Hotel has also implemented environmental care such as wastewater management at STP recycled and used for watering plants, and then using glass bottles for mineral water so as to reduce the use of plastic materials. “For the amenities set up in the room, we also use biodegradable plastics such as tooth brushes, shower caps and others,” he added.

This hotel follows the current trend, namely sustainable business. Call it the responsibility for the environment using hotel wastewater that is not used for consumption. However, it is used for watering plants and cleaning activities. The hotel also eliminates plastic materials to a minimum level. “We have a nursery for vegetables, so that vegetables served from the kitchen are taken from our own garden behind (the hotel),” he explained.

For social responsibility, this hotel collaborates with BUPDA or a business unit owned by the Kuta customary village as partners for operational activities such as vehicle rental as well as hotel logistics materials providers. This social responsibility is expected to bring in goodness to Kuta village and Bali as a whole. Meanwhile, in terms of gender equality, 3 out of 8 leaders in the hotel are held by women. Likewise, of the 67 employees, more than 30 percent are also women. “We have applied these principles during the construction phase and operation of the Paasha Atelier Hotel,” he affirmed. (BTN/015)
