Doing charity is beautiful. It is what The Haven Bali Seminyak, The Haven Suites Bali Berawa, The 1O1 Bali Oasis Sanur, The 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak and FRii Bali Echo Beach did for the residents of Penyaringan Village, Jembrana District, who were affected by the flash floods. The hotel, which is under the management of PHM Hotels, provided building material assistance in the form of 325 sacks of Tiga Roda cement.

The assistance handover was carried out at Penyaringan Village, Jembrana, on Tuesday (Dec 20). It was handed over in person by team of The Haven Bali Seminyak, The Haven Suites Bali Berawa, The 1O1 Bali Oasis Sanur, The 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak and FRii Bali Echo Beach, and was warmly welcomed by community representatives, namely Administrative Head of the Penyaringan Village, Kadek Winastra and Chairman of the BPD of Penyaringan Village, I Made Swiastawa.

The assistance was handed over as a concrete manifestation of the concern of the PHM Hotels of Bali unit and its employees for people who had to be evacuated due to natural disasters. “We hope this assistance can help procure additional building materials for the rebuilding of residents’ houses,” said the General Manager of The Haven Bali Seminyak and representing the General Manager of other units, I Wayan Sukaarta.

In the activity, the PHM Hotels for Bali Unit team also helped clean up the areas affected by flash floods. “Provision of this assistance aims to help others and we hope to accelerate the construction of houses for the residents of Penyaringan Village, Jembrana,” he hoped.

Winastra and Swiastawa equally expressed their deepest gratitude to the people who still care about the victims. Donations would be distributed fairly by looking at the condition of the residents’ houses because some were partially damaged, while some others even lost their whole houses. (BTN/015)
