The younger generation is the nation’s future hope as an agent of change. Therefore, the knowledge and quality of the younger generation must continue to be improved. On that account, Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa invites the younger generation from around Plataran Ubud to make a change for the better. “Plataran Indonesia is holding its third workshop in Bali in collaboration with a young generation community called YOUTHTOPIA in Ubud, Bali,” said Corporate Director of Marketing of Plataran Indonesia, Kay Tadjoedin, on the sidelines of the event, Tuesday (Jan 24).
YOUTHTOPIA comes with a vision of accelerating positive change through youth leadership, especially on climate change and social inequality. “We hope, together with YOUTHTOPIA, it is a place for all young change makers to find community and strengthen one another. Every young person can be a change maker, but not everyone knows where to start,” he said seriously.
According to Kay Tadjoedin, YOUTHTOPIA comes with a vision of accelerating positive change through youth leadership, especially on climate change and social inequality. At least 25 of the youths took part in the workshop. In the activity, they introduced bye-bye plastic bags program, the history of YOUTHTOPIA, the journey of a change maker, and tips on how to become a change maker.
The workshop entitled “How to become a change maker” is a form of supporting Gen Z Indonesia to make changes for a better future. The event is a form of Plataran’s concern for nature and society, in line with Plataran Indonesia’s pillars, namely nature, culture and community. “Plataran Indonesia is holding its third workshop in Bali in collaboration with a young generation community called YOUTHTOPIA in Ubud, Bali, after completing 9 workshops from the “Work for the Nation” series in Magelang and Jakarta,” he concluded.
