The faces of foreign tourists looked happy when they were given the opportunity to release turtle hatchlings on Berawa Beach, Tibubeneng Village, North Kuta Subdistrict, Badung, Friday (Sep 1). They started by photographing the cute hatchlings, and then squatted down without crossing the predetermined line. When touching the sand, the hatchlings ran towards each other to reach the edge of the sea water. Suddenly, the participants in attendance applauded and cheered for the hatchlings to reach the sea soon.
It is the atmosphere of releasing turtle hatchlings in series of the seventh anniversary of Swarga Suites Bali Berawa which involved staff and employees, hotel guests as well as Tibubenang Village figures and the local community. A total of 100 turtle hatchlings were first released by hotel employees, and then by other participants including tourists who were on the beach. “For the seventh anniversary celebration, Swarga Suites Bali Berawa takes the theme 7ourney of Swarga with the Tri Hita Karana concept,” said General Manager of Swarga Suites Bali Berawa, Gede Bimbi Sanjaya, on the sidelines of releasing the turtle hatchlings.
The release of the turtle hatchlings is in collaboration with the Kuta Station Turtle Hatchling Conservation Center, Bali. In addition to releasing the hatchlings, it began with community service to clean up the beach and maintain the balance of the marine ecosystem. The event began with the performance of Wasundhari Dance, a new creation dance as the mascot of Tibubeneng Village. “To understand the Tri Hita Karana concept, we carried out various series of activities starting with CSR activities at the Destawan Orphanage located in Buleleng District on August 26, 2023,” added this man calmly.
