Carangsari tourism village holds an international event entitled Carangsari Heritage Run on March 1-May 29, 2022. The Badung Government really appreciates the implementation of the event. “Hopefully, the implementation of the Heritage Run event will run smoothly and optimally,” said Regional Secretary of Badung District Government, I Wayan Adi Arnawa, when receiving an audience with the Head of the Badung Tourism Office, I Nyoman Rudiarta, and a member of the Badung House of Representatives, I Gusti Agung Ayu Inda Trimafo Yudha, Head of Carangsari Village, I Made Sudana and players of the Carangsari tourism village at the Badung Civic Center on Thursday (Feb 24).
The Regional Secretary, Adi Arnawa, gave his appreciation to the operator of the Carangsari tourism village regarding the international event Carangsari Heritage Run. This is a very good measure and breakthrough in promoting tourism for economic recovery in Bali, especially in Badung District. “Hopefully, this event will help the surrounding community, especially at Carangsari Village, as well as generate creative economies, so that later on it will have an impact on income and will grow purchasing power and grow the economy in the area,” he said.
One of the figures who is also a player in Carangsari tourism village, Ida Bagus Namarupa, stated that the Carangsari Heritage Run is a running competition event with a distance category of 5 km and 10 km for running enthusiasts and for the public. It is running while enjoying the treats of nature, culture and history passed down from generation to generation at Carangsari Historical Village, the birthplace of the national hero I Gusti Ngurah Rai.
At Carangsari Village, there are many interesting sites that can add insight into the ancestral heritage of our nation, Indonesia. “The presence of the Carangsari Heritage Run is expected to be a program for the return of tourism to the Island of Bali, and a form of creativity from Carangsari Village, as the first winner of creative content in the Indonesian Tourism Village Award from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy,” he explained.
