Happiness and gratefulness are felt by traders trying their luck at the Badung Market. Why? The Haven Suites Bali Berawa distributed Jinggo Rice (Nasi Jinggo) as a sense of caring for others in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. “Care, Share, and Grateful” is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program from The Haven Suites Bali Berawa to care for merchants affected by Covid-19 pandemic. We do choose the moment of Valentine’s Day or the day of love to share,” said Marketing Communication Executive, Mrs. Nadya Chendana, on Tuesday (Feb 16).
The Haven Suites Bali Berawa holds a CSR program as a form of hotel concern for the community. In addition to sharing Nasi Jinggo with merchants, it was also distributed to various parking attendants and porters on that Sunday (Feb 14). “We chose Badung Market because of its location is quite close to the hotel. Besides, it is a trade center in the city area, so it is right to hold this CSR program,” she added.
The kitchen staff, assisted by other employees, wrapped the Nasi Jinggo at hotel from the morning and then took it to the market in the capital of Bali Province. Many merchants, parking attendants and porters were active or were sitting in the market area at that time. “Happiness can be seen from the face of the merchants, parking attendants and porters when we started distributing Nasi Jinggo in the market area,” she said happily.
Through the activity, Nadya hoped that everyone can increase their sense of concern for others. “It also means to increase our gratitude for the fortune endowed by God to us so that we can always share with fellow humans,” concluded this friendly woman. (BTN/015)
