YELLO Hotel Kuta Beachwalk (YKTB) came with full of aesthetic aura on Saturday (Aug 27). Dozens of artists from various regions in Indonesia expressed their talent of beauty through pylox paint and canvas in the event entitled YELLO OFF DA WALL (YODW). Their action became an art attraction witnessed by in-house guests. “YODW is a celebration of street art. We are one of the proponents of art and this is an important aspect of our DNA,” said Shared Services General Manager of HARRIS Hotel Tuban & YELLO Hotel Kuta Beachwalk, Muhammad Mufrani Mardiansyah.
The YODW Street Art competition is open to the public, and anyone is free to participate. The theme of the Competition is “YELLO Nation: Beautiful Kuta Beach – The Fun under the Sun” and represents YELLO Hotels as a collection of young street talent with a showcase of local and urban themes (freedom of expression, youth at heart, urban life). “This event is in collaboration with Diton King and supported by the Beachwalk Shopping Center as a way to unite the artist community in Indonesia, especially in Bali,” he said.
The event was attended by VIP Management from the company that owns PT Indonesian Paradise Property Tbk., namely Elvan Prawira Gunadi–Deputy COO & Owner Representative, Nyoman Wirayasa—General Manager of Aston Cluster for Hotels, Mr. Muhammad Mufrani Mardiansyah – Shared Service GM of HARRIS Hotel Tuban & YELLO Hotel Kuta Beachwalk as well as Badung regional government officials. “We feel grateful and really appreciate all the efforts of the hotel for local artists and craftsmen as one of our efforts to boost Bali tourism,” explained Mufrani.
Elvan Prawira congratulated the event and felt optimistic that Yello Kuta Beachwalk Bali would provide the best experience for all guests. Meanwhile, Nyoman Wirayasa stated that his party is very delighted to be able to collaborate with Diton King, Indonesia’s No.1 spray paint product specifically for graffiti, fine arts and other artistic uses. “We very much hope that YELLO Hotel Kuta Beachwalk Bali can provide a new color in the hospitality industry and provide a unique experience for guests to stay,” said Wirayasa.
The event was filled in with the introduction to the artists of Diton King such as Aldhi Pratama (#cakespws) and Muhamad Nurfadillah as Bonner. The event even turned livelier with the PlayStations Games competition, live performance by DJ Stevie Dominique, live Bombing with the Artist, Flash Mob Dance by GOGcrewbali as well as performances by Bali BeatBox Community.
At that time, it was announced that the winner of YELLO OFF DA WALL, namely Mulyo Gunarso from Bantul, won the first place, followed by Aris Suantara from Gianyar and Akari Kokoh Ardanu from Surakarta as the second and third place winners. The event was then closed with YELLO ROAR hosted by YELLO Crew.
The atmosphere was quite fantastic as Yello Hotel offered a creative approach to hospitality which means that the hotel could cater to guests’ needs whatever the occasion-whether it is an overnight holiday, a business trip, a family celebration or an once-in-a-lifetime experience. “We hope to provide a pleasant place to stay for our guests. We promise to provide the necessary connectivity and facilities to always be connected to game stations, clean zones, places to relax, and high-speed Internet access,” concluded Mufrani. (BTN/015)
